Do you find that the price dropped substantially from the initial booking price? I'm considering a Carnival cruise in October with some girlfriends. I am just trying to get an idea of price and am wondering how much it may drop before sailing.

Thanks,

Pam

I booked in July for an October cruise, and the price subsequently went up.

We booked in early March for Oct 3rd. Granted the day we booked was the one day Carnival sale, but our cruise has gone up since then. Still keep looking every day just in case.

Wow...I figured it would drop closer to sailing because of it being hurricane season. The prices, though, are pretty good to begin with for the October sailings I've been looking at.

Last year I booked in June for October. We got our choice of a $140 shipboard credit (for the cabin) or an upgrade.

I booked the 1 day sale as well! I got the 6D room for the 6A price. Now the price is $90 higher. My TA also gave us $50 shipboard credit as well. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
