Where is a cheap place to get passport photos? I have always traveled with a birth certificate but am thinking of getting a passport for my upcoming cruise. Thanks for any help.

Kinko's can do it. I think it cost something like $7.

Most places that process passports also have a photo service (it's noted on their website), but it costs $15. If a Walmart or Sears isn't close by... it may be worth it!
I did it before I paid a lot of attention to this fabulous board and got 'took' for the $15.

I just went to AAA (it was $6 plus tax for me) I had it done last week.
I just looked in the yellow pages under passport photos,
which directed me to look under photographers, which is where I saw a list of photography places in my area that does passport photos.

We did our own with our digital camera. It took a few tries to get the right size 'head' with no shadows http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif, but it sure beats the 'mug' shots that you get from some places http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

We had ours done at AAA last year and they were free because we are AAA PLUS members. Well, mine and my husband's were free, but we had to pay for our sons' pictures.

The old MAIL BOX Stores, now the UPS Store.
Don't know the price.
