My husband and I are going on the Mariner in Feb 07 but we have recently been thinking of booking a Disney Cruise for our family vacation.
Our kids would be 3, 4 , and 8. Can anyone tell me if our 3 yr old would be to young. Should we wait until she's older????

If you can afford it, by all means, do it. She'll have a terrific time, and although she may not remember it when she's older, you will.
DCL is a 3 year old girl's paradise - Disney characters roaming the ship, signing autographs, special sessions with the "princesses," extensive childrens' programming, an splash pool shaped like Mickey Mouse, wait staff used to catering to small kids. She will love it.
Our son was 3 when we went on our first famiy cruise (with Princess; there was no Disney Cruise Line at the time). In fact, he celebrated his 3rd birthday while on board. After dinner each night, we gave him the choice of "going to the kids place or going to the show." His response varied, but he always had a ball, whichever he chose.
After the cruise was over, when we got home, I put him to bed. He looked up at me and said, "I want to see the show." So did I.

Only you can really tell if your child is ready for a Disney cruise. Each kid is different. I am considering a Disney cruise for next summer. The main factor that is influencing this decision is that my now 3 year old son is still in diapers and would not be able to participate in the kids programs on the ship. Hopefully, when he is 4 next summer, we will have made progress in the potty training and he will no longer need diapers/pullups.

We went on a 4 day in June and we have a 5 yr old son and a 4 year old daughter. Our kids did not spend much time in the clubs because everything that we did was kid friendly. However, I wish that they would have spent more time in the clubs because there are so many neat activities for them. Regardless, they had such a GREAT time. My DD who is 4 keeps asking when we are going back on the Disney boat! I know that they will not remember much, but we took lots of pictures and we can't wait to go again!!! This is an awesome cruise with kids!! It was our best vacation ever. We found the ship so kid friendly!! You and your kids will love it!!! :)

I would agree a big factor is whether they're potty trained. Oceaneer's Lab won't take them unless they're potty trained and they can only go in the wading pool (or Mickey's ears). There is Flounder's Reef, but there is only a certain amount of time they can be there so you'll want to visit the disneycruise.com site for more information around that. Overall though, I think they'd love it. We have a DisCruise scheduled for 4/07 when our twins will be 4. And, I can't wait!

Our 3yr old will definitly be potty trained, I don't think that we would go other wise
