I have been talking with Access and Compliance and they have been gracious enough to contact the ship and take photos of my unusual configured handicap cabin. She e-mailed the photos after the Head Housekeeper snapped them and sent them to her.:)
Here is where it gets funny. This is a fully obstructed cabin on promenade deck and I had the idea that there might be a view at an angle from this cabin if not straight ahead. So I asked if the Head Housekeeper could take some pictures through the window to see what kind of angle view there is from this cabin. He told A+C that the lifeboats entirely block the view. (Lifeboats are not even close to this part of the ship.)
I asked again and about a week later, he sent pictures looking AT the window from the outside! I wanted them from inside the cabin.:)
Actually, it turned out to be a cool picture because reflected in the window is a view of the mountains in Alaska. Proving there would be a view from the cabin. You can also see him reflected in the window with his brass buttons and a clipboard under his arm.:)
I had Access and Compliance thank the Head Housekeeper for going through the trouble to help me. Too cool.
In the meantime Robin7 was kind enough to take view pictures standing in front of my window on her recent cruise.:)
Just another little extra mile that HAL goes that I don't think other lines would do!
