Can anyone tell me if the Noordam has steps in any of their pools? A friend of mine is sailing with her sister. Her sister has special needs and the steps are critical. Pls let me know asap.
Thanks.

I am assuming are are talking about a gradual step type of thing into the pools vs. a ladder. I have only noticed the ladder type. If your friends sister has special needs, I would have your TA contact HAL, they may have something else that can be done so she can enjoy the pools as well.

The outside pool on the back of the ship is the adult pool (at least it was on our sailing since there were 275 children on board). There is a ladder going into the pool, however, there is a bench surrounding the pool which does not have a ladder and it is very big step up. If she is able, she can sit on the bench and swing her legs around to get in and then walk over to the ladder to get into the pool. The pool itself is deep, over 6 feet in all sections. I'm not sure about the indoor pool with the retractable roof because we never went there because there were always at leat 50 or so children in there at any given time. Hope this helps.
