well first to the Tenn Vol fans.............GO DAWGS! Secondly this cruise looks like it will be a great time. I live in Scottsdale AZ . My wife and I arrive in Venice on the 8th. Staying at the Rialto. I have done extensive business travel worldwide but this is only our second cruise. Look forward to meeting new friends and having great experiences.

How about a friendly wager? Loser of the the October 7, UT Vs. UGa game buys drinks at Martinis on October 10, at 6:30 PM in Martinis. I think that even if I lose I will win because I will meet A dawg from AZ.

I received (and promptly lost) your earlier message about getting together for a drink after we depart on the tenth. In trying to find the lost message, I ran across this thread. Martini's at 6:30 would work for us as well.

I am a little concerned about being out numbered, by all those SEC folks (the Freemans who are travelling with us are Ole Miss grads).

That sounds great! All CC board members who are on this cruise are welcome to join us. By the way, you know Ole Miss as an ex UT QB. We are coming into Venice a day early. How about meeting for a beer (I can't afford a drink in Venice) somewhere. We are staying at the Hotel Antiche Figure. It is right off of the Piazzale Roma across from the train station.

We are staying at the Foscari Palace. Once we get in and oriented (we arrive Monday morning at 9:30 am on Delta from JFK), I'll try to give you a call. We plan to ride the Vaporetto and do some walking on our own Monday afternoon. We have a private guide for Tuesday and Wednesday.
