Cruises are generally cheaper during hurricane season. If a hurricane pops up around your cruise time, you may not go on the intenary you originally booked.

I take my chances and do book during the season.

I think May is a great time to cruise, kids are in school, so less chance of out-of-control teenagers.

Late August, September, January and Early February tend to be the cheapest.

We've cruised twice early January and loved it. The weather wasn't blistering hot, but it was still very nice. The water at CC was chilly, though. We've also cruised twice in December....CC water was chilly (not as cold as January, though) but the Eastern port waters were warm and beautiful.

I'd cruise this time of year in a heartbeat.

We've tried to cruise in September (back in 2004), but it was an interrupted cruise due to hurricane and abbreviated to a 4-nighter instead. We decided to skip it that time. We might try to book a September one again (prices are amazing) but it is a big gamble.

October is a good time too. We always try to go for a Holloween cruise.

When we went on the Wonder for Holloween 2001, we did have to out run a hurricane our last night. It made for a very rocky ride. Most of the crew was sick, but the show went on. No kidding, the actors for stage show kept swaying left and right. DW and I were impressed.

I'm new here, can you tell me what Disney does when this arrive? Do you have a credit? Do they give you passes to WDW?

Thanks!

:)My suggestion would be the first full week in December. It is just after the hurricane season. The Magic is set for Christmas, and the cabin values are truly excellent. We are doing this cruise week for both 2006 and 2007.
