We loved the cabanas! They are well worth the price. Check out HMC Cabanas (http://www.elite.net/~thehalls/cabana.html) for our report.

But I think at the time we got it, the butler was included in the price -- at least we had a cabana steward who brought us our lunch. It looks as if it is quite a bit more expensive now. Depends on how much you dislike trudging through the sand. If you don't mind walking to the bar or buffet, then skip the butler.

In a word...YES!!!!

It was the very best of times on the entire cruise, but make sure that you also get the extra cost butler service. You will want for nothing. They will provide all the food and drink which means that you will not have to spend any time standing in line for the island buffet. You will be given a menu the day ahead, but ask for anything that you might want, they will usually provide whatever it is that you want, and don't be afraid to double order. We had shrimp, fillet, and wonderful fresh fruit. Plus greast desserts. Also, you get priority tender use.

Any of them are fine, just make sure to get one quick, they always sell out.

We loved our cabana: absolutely decadent, even without the too pricey butler. Snag one if you can and do not fret about the color line up. Sheesh! No need to worry... you are in paradise.

You will love Half Moon Cay....we didn't get the cabana, but I can tell you from other cruisers on our ship that they were very pleased with the extra special attention and service they rec'd. My husband and I didn't find the lines too long for the buffet, maybe we were just in the right place at the right time when they started serving food. It's your vacation, pamper yourself. One of my favorites at Half Moon Cay was the water waiter...he was doing photo shots and there were some serving drinks...talk about pampering! Have a great time.
