Captain's Party

Does the inspiration still have the Captain's Party? I read about it the these board on an old posting.

Inspiration - August 2004

All Carnival ships have the Captain's Welcome Aboard Party on formal night before dinner. It's very nice, with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. The crew is introduced.

As Cotton says all the Carnival ships have them.

We just got back from the Fantasy and we did the Captain's Party. It was fun and lots of free drinks and foodies. HEHEHHEHEHEH I will for sure hit the next one on the Triumph.

They are cool ways to meet all the head people on the ship.

Thank you for the information. I am always reading the post, but no one ever says anything about the captain's party, are we told about it or do we have to ask someone on the ship?

The time and place will be published in the Capers.

Back in the day, there would be a reception line and yet another photo op with the Captain. That hasn't happened on the last couple of cruises.

Tom, the past three cruises on the Holiday, they still did the reception line, and I have pics of me w/the Captain! (I don't know why things are different ship to ship.)
