Long Beach

We will be sailing out of Long Beach next February aboard the NCL Star. We are looking for a motel, because we like to arrive a day early so as not to miss the boat.

We know nothing about the area or the motels. Would appreciate any advise to find motel, transportation from LAX and transportation to the ship.
