I was just wondering if multiple couples travailing together book Guarantee cabins in the same category, How likely will HAL put there room together?
We are thinking about booking with several other couples and was wondering what if.
I'm thinking its just pot luck as to what's available.

I think you have a good chance of getting cabins near each. We booked a GTY for the Oosterdam 11/05 sailing 14 months in adv and my parents booked about 8 months in adv (similar verandah cat) and we were right next to each other - I'm sure this happened because our reservations were linked. Also on Zuiderdam 11/04 sailing - we chose a specific aft cabin and our relatives/friends GTY were put on the aft on deck below and one cabin over, right next to each other - we were all linked for our dining assignments. And one couple even had a different TA. You might not get right next to each other but I think they really try if they can. Good luck!

My parents booked a last minute cruise once with 2 other couples in the same category. They were not all together, which was fine, they knew they booked late and the chances of being together weren't great. It worked out fine. My suggestion is if you want to be together then don't book a guarantee, but if doesn't mean that much to you, then book the guarantee.

It really depends on how many people have already requested certain cabins as to what cabins you will be assigned as you are guarantees.

We have booked inside guarantees approx. 5 times when sailing with family members and the cabins have been adjacent each time.
Good luck!:)

Thanks for your replys
I don't mean to sound mean but the reasons I asked is I was hoping the cabins might not be close. They are good friends but a bit more rowdy than we are. If we were together they would want the partitions taken down and stuff like that. I just didn't want to put my foot down and sound snobbish, but the wife and I love our private time on a cruise. We like booking guarantees with always the possibility of a upgrade.
