My wife and I are booked on the Insignia in March of 2007 for the trans-atlantic crossing from Rio de Janeiro to Barcelona. In keeping with a centuries old tradition, I hope there will be a visit from King Neptune and his "friends" when we cross the equator (minus the more "messy" initiation rites of painting the 'first-timers' with mustard, molasses, and other such condiments). Actually I think the crossing of the equator is great 'excuse' for a special event to break up the daily routine of days at sea and hope that others feel the same way. The special event keeping, of course , within Oceania's rules of decorum.
