Yes have used taxi durand ( Louisette Durand).
She was terrific. We had a great tour with her . While her English wasn't great mixed with our limited French we were all able to understand each other and had a really fun time.
Have been recommending that company on this board since.:D

We are thinking of doing a similar tour in Sept 2007. Could you please email me with your thoughts and the contact info for the tour agent.
Thanks,

We used Catherine at www.provence-travel.com (http://www.provence-travel.com) in November, and we were very happy with her services. She drove us to Cassis where she accompanied us through the seaport (we came across Oceania passengers who had been dropped off by their guide and left to wander the town on their own), she drove us to the top of the Calanques to a beautiful vista point, and then on to Toulon (there's a great naval museum there), narrating on art, nature, history, and the Provencal livestyle all along the way, pointing out castles, wineries, and other points of interest.

Six of us just got back from Nautica (Barcelona to Athens) and had a fabulous day in Provence with tour guide Christian Boyer. He speaks good English, knows Provence like the back of his hand, has an immaculate air-conditioned VW van and was kind enough to bring chilled water for the ride. He is an accomplished photographer, will tailor your tour to your specific interests, and works hand-in-hand with Catherine. Visit their website at www.accueilprovence.com (http://www.accueilprovence.com) and I'm sure you will be impressed. He met us at the dock, showed a little of Marseille where he was born, took us to Aix en Provence and helped us buy picnic supplies at farmer's market where locals shop. Drove us through Peter Mayle country (at our request), we saw spectacular scenery and ended up in Les Baux where he had a memorable suprise for us. I highly recommend him. We used Oceania tours and taxis in other ports but all 6 agreed that Christian is the BEST. Hope this helps.
