Booked Our First Suite On The Westerdam!

We are so excited....booked our first suite on the Westerdam. Booked a SY Guarantee...so now we wait & see what we will get. ;)

I can ASSURE you, you will love it!
we had our first suite on the Oosterdam... even my hubby loved it (and he is hard to please :p )
Enjoy the nice sized bathrooms, table a bath in the jetted tub, have a nice evening one day and get dinner delivered to your cabin and have it on your balcony!

I don't want to put a damper on your excitement but the SY category does not include "S" and "PS" suite priveleges like the free laundry, suite parties, and use of the Neptune Lounge. It is similar to the mini-suites on HAL's non-Vista ships. They are beautiful large rooms with big bathrooms, full sized whirlpool tubs, extra shower stall, large veranda etc, but do not have the separate dressing room or personal concierge services.
Just know this before you board so you won't be disappointed.

grannynurse: You didn't put a damper on my excitement...I already knew that the SY category didn't qualify us for the "extra" perks....but, since this is a guarantee we may be upgraded to one that does qualify for them. Thanks for your description of the SY cabin...we researched the rooms thoroughly too! We are so happy to be trying a new cruiseline...I'm sure we won't be disappointed.

Lolawiz: Thanks for your kind thoughts....we are very excited about the suite...regardless of which one we get. Keep in mind, we usually book inside cabins, so for us, this is quite a difference. ;)
