how much do they hold on your cc/ddance

Hi folks 1st just got my first set of docs today!! cabin still tba !!
my ? is how much will they "hold" for a 7 day cruise for 2a/1 5yr old.trying to convince dh of what c card to use. also can you hold on one then pay with a bank card or other card at the end?? just dont want a whole bunch of money I could be spending tied up!! thanks

Money is money they will take it any way you give it to them. The last day visit the pursers desk and tell them how you would like to pay for you sail and sign account. I'm sure they will do it any way you want. Have fun.
