Veendam Cat A Hairdryer's

Can anyone tell me how powerful the hair dryer's are that are in the dressing area on the Veendam. I have long thick hair and need a good hair dryer. Would be nice to be able to leave mine at home. However, don't want a wimpy hair dryer.

My advice is bring your own. I had one catch fire on the Ryndam last year. I too have long jair and they tend to overheat when used for a long time.

Isn't it horrible when they catch on fire! Had a client year's ago that was using one in the island's (supplied by the resort) actually caught her hair on fire YEOOOW

On the Veendam 9/23, the hair dryer (located in the bathroom attached to the wall, is weak..you are better off bringing your own. :)

sirarthur, there should be two hairdryers on the Veendam (and all the S- and R-class ships, for that matter). The ones in the bathroom are the old ones. They are great for clearing off the mirror after a shower; I hope HAL never removes them.
There should also be a newer, more powerful one, in the drawer. Some people think they are fine; others still prefer to bring their own.

Never used the one in the bathroom, as I would probably still be there drying. The one that caught on fire was in the vanity. We were in a suite, and they replaced it with amuch better one.....
