My daughter is thinking about getting married while on a cruise. Would like to know about how much it would cost to get married while on the ship and what is included. Also if you have done this , would you reccomend it.

Carnival has a special department just for this -- you do however, not get married on the cruise itself- either before the cruise leaves or on one of the islands of your cruise -- not sure of the price but there are plenty of people on this bulletin board that have been married as part of their cruise -- I'm sure they'll give you their opinions, however, you can call Carnival to get an idea of what they offer (they offer different packages which include different levels of services) to get an idea if this is something that your daughter would even like. Good Luck and congratulations to your daughter.

We got married on th Glory last August. This was a second for both of us so it was just us and our kids (5). It was great! No stress since Carnival does everything. We had a wonderful experience and I would reccomend it. There is a wedding and honeymoon section of CC that might give you more info on full blown weddings. I know a few that have done it recently and have posted on that board. I have pictures on Webshots if you want to post your email or email me at dtchem1@comcast.net.

Hi, My son and his fiance are getting married in October while in port of Miami. It is on the triumph. We set the wedding up through carnival. There are several different packages available. I think the cheapest is about 950.00 and the most expensive about 1800. It depends on # of people and kind of reception. If you want a video it is more too. Pictures are separate also.

We got married last year on the MS Carnival Legend. It was great! Carnival really does take care of everything..basically all you do is get on the ship (FIRST I might add!) and show up at the altar..No problems! You choose how small/big you want it to be...I recommend it to every one interested in getting married at all! No stress for the bride..the groom isn't dragged through an agonizing ceremony..Congrats!

My BIL is getting married on the Legend in November, I posted a list of questions on the wedding board and haven't gotten one response. Any info you have would be very helpful. Do you have any pictures from the wedding you can email to us. You imput on this upcoming wedding would be helpful. I know they booked the Deluxe Package including the 1 1/2 hour reception and it was $1450.00. They are still trying to decide about the add ons.
