Help!! I'm booking my own excursions and I thought I had the whole time thing figured out, but then came daylight savings and messed me all up. I know that some countries observe daylight savings time and others don't. We'll be sailing the Paradise Western Caribbean and from what I've read on the boards, the Paradise stays on ship time. So here's the itinerary that's in my travel docs:
Tue Belize 9:00am-6:00pm
Wed Isla Roatan 7:00am-3:00pm
Thu Grand Cayman 9:30am-5:00pm
Fri Cozumel 1:00pm-11:00pm
Belize and Roatan don't observe DST, so they are 2 hours behind ship time (EST). Does that mean that we get into Belize at 7am and Roatan at 5am their time??? That seems incredibly early, so I was wondering if that is right.
Grand Cayman and Cozumela are easier as they are only 1 hour behind ship time. Is that right?
All of this time stuff is tempting me to just book excursions through the ship, which I really don't want to do for scuba diving. Help me please!!
Days until Paradise
