We are going on the miracle in Aug and are staying on the veranda deck. Last cruise we stayed on the riveria and thought it was fine. Looking at the floor plan of the miracle ,most of the activities are on the deck right above like the casino and the room where the shows are performed. Has anyone stayed on the riveria deck and how as the noise?

What was your last cruise? Lots of ships Riveria deck is below a deck of cabins. I would think that Carnival would have these rooms insulated with noise barriers.
We stayed on the Victory on top of the Lounge. We didnt hear anything at all from that lounge all week. Let me tell you that I stressed for a long time about that too and it was all for nothing.
Can you move to a higher deck?
THe Veranda deck is deck 7 the rivera deck is deck 2. which is 5 decks away from where you are staying. I dont think the noise on the Rivera deck will affect you one way or another.

Just back from the 4/12 Miracle cruise. Our cabin was #1184 on the Riviera deck (outside room). It was very quite....never heard any noise.
