Is the Carnival MIRACLE a good ship for "singles"?

I'm planning to treat myself to a Caribbean cruise as soon as my divorse is final, and I'm wondering if the MIRACLE will be a good ship to meet other singles. If not . . . What ship would you suggest?

Never been on the ship you mentioned, but any large Carnival ship is great for making new friends. Don't pick a cruise longer than 7 days either... singles have a hard time getting off work for much longer. I'm not single, but I will be attending the wedding in June of 2 lovely people that met on the Triumph. Nancy

As of right now, I will be cruising "solo", but I'm very outgoing so don't think I'll have any trouble meeting people. My only concern is that the ship may be filled with "couples", and I will feel out of place.

Most ships have a single meet going on the first night. During the week they also had group activites geared towards the single person
