We are booked in a superior veranda suite SS8038. It's on the Navigation Deck. Has anyone been in this suite? I'd love to know about the veranda and the general comfort level of the room. I understand the SS bathrooms have 2 sinks and a whirlpool bath. Is this true of this particular suite?
If you can supply any info it would be much appreciated. This will be our first time in a suite. :)

You are on the starboard side, we were in SS Suite 8062 just recently on the Port side. All of the SS suites have a full jacuzzi tub and a separate shower as well as two sinks. The bathroom is good size and also has quite a bit of storage. There are two chairs and ottoman's with on the verandah with a small table between those two chairs. Then there is a breakfast table and two chairs. The verandah is a very nice size and the room itself is very, very nice and well appointed.

We have booked the same cabin for our Sept 28 cruise, but it is on the port side, well forward, the most forward SS cabin on the Nav deck port side. It will be our first time in an SS cabin, so we are also interested in learning if anyone else has stayed in that cabin.

we were in SS 8051, starboard side. Sometimes at night we could hear a lot of noise from the movement of chairs/tables on the Lido deck above and the night of the BBQ is was a little noisier. That being said, it was a great cabin and great amenities, Elemis spa toiletries. With the new beds and great mattresses, I really didn't have a problem sleeping even with a little noise.pj

We were in that cabin on the Westerdam, which is supposed to be nearly identical. The bathroom is great. Two sinks. A whirpool bath and a separate shower stall.
Don't forget to start your day with room service. I still think about drinking a cup of coffee on the balcony every day while I am sitting in my office. All I need to do is close my eyes and I'm there.

Papadave: thanks for the feedback! We do have room service for breakfast each morning-it is great! :)

From the deckplans, it appears that you are located just at the entrance to the Spa/Hydropool area - there may be a bit of noise above you during your late afternoon nap or early morning snooze as that's where the Lido sunlounger/deckchairs will be stacked for the night.
Otherwise, those SS's are a great way to travel!
Enjoy!
