Bravo HAL's Ship Services!

We so often use these forums to complain about problems we have encountered while cruising. Wanted to report a most pleasant conversation that I had with Peter from HAL's Ship Services Department in Seattle this morning.

After explaining that I was trying to put together a group reception and giving him my name, he immediately contacted Noordam's Group Services Coordinator, who confirmed that the gathering was all arranged and confirmed with the Ship.

Frankly it was the most refreshing service-related call I have had in a long time and I told the representative so.

I have to agree any time I have called ship services I have encountered some very helpful and friendly people. One time I called to book Pinnacle and I was told that I already had a paid Pinnacle from our TA. I believe that a smile can even shine thru a telephone:)

I've dealt with Ship Services a few times now and I've always found them to be extremely helpful and cheerful. They're awesome :D

I have to add my agreement. Ships services personnel have always been helpful and friendly to me.

Count me happy. Just the other day, I received my docs - my online booking agent booked our party of ten for the wrong dinner seating. An email only made things more confusing. I called Ship's Services, and everyone was instantly confirmed at the correct seating.

That left my online agent - who is very quick - sputtering for an email explanation.

This comes as no surprise to me since I've always found Ship's Services to be extremely friendly and helpful.

But I agree it certainly does no harm to say something nice for a change and not only to disagree with a complainer.
