We are new to Disney - and was reading many responses and it refers to booking Secret Verandahs and Secret decks on decks 7 and 8 - Would someone explain??

Thanks for the help

At the very back of those two decks there are doors that are not marked, but they lead to outside decks with lounge chairs. Deck 7 is bigger. I don't even remember if deck 8's was big enough for chairs.

Secret verandah...well I have one of those next cruise. Its a Cat 5 verandah room for a Cat 7 price because it's the last one at the back of the ship and the top edge of the balcony is slanted and partially blocked. If you look at the last verandah rooms in a picture, you'll notice the slanted end. There is one on each side of the ship on deck 7 and deck 6.

DCL also has some cabins sold as Cat. 10 inside cabins. They are on deck 5 and are actually outside cabins with portholes that are obstructed. So, for the price of an inside cabin, you get sunlight and varying partial views. These are very hard to get. The cabins (on either the Magic or the Wonder) are:#5520, #5522, #5524, #5020, #5022, #5024 ( 5522 & 5524 and 5022 & 5024 are adjoiners).
