Where'd the ship Go?

We were visiting Key West the week of April 11th. On Wednesday, April 14th, a Carnival Cruise ship came into the port at around 6:30 in the morning, moved up to the docks, then promptly did a 360, and was led by a pilot boat back out to sea.
We were staying at the Ocean Key Resort that week, and watched many ships come to Key West.
I asked around town if anyone had ever seen anything like that before, and noone could recall that ever happening, or come up with an explanation for why it did.
Were any of you on the ship or can anyone explain what was up ?

Don't know if this is the right ship or not. I read somewhere that a ship did not get some required papers in on time and after some of the passengers got off, the Coast Guard made the ship go into international waters until it picked up the passengers early that evening.

According to Kim's review that is on the front page as of now it may have been the Miracle. She did say that they missed Key West due to rough conditions.

HI,
Early that morning, I did feel some bumping around and thought we were docking. Later I saw the ocean going by my beautiful balcony stateroom! We were told the conditions were too rough to dock. There were rumors that one couple was supposed to get married in Key West and were meeting family members at this port.
Also, the performers from the night before couldn't get OFF the ship and the new ones couldn't get ON. It was a little disappointing, but it was a GREAT cruise!
