If you book a 4A guarantee for three people I know they can put you in 4 person cabin (2 uppers and 2 twins) but will they put you in a 2 person cabin (2 twins with a rollaway)?

Anyone have this happen - 3 in a cabin for 2?

They say you won't be in that predicament, but sure enough, they did it to us!! We were so upset, because the TA booked a cabin that showed 3 in a room, but instead every night they pulled out a cot and stored it during the day in our cabin! We hated it, because my daughter wanted to sit on her bed during the day but we had no room to move!

Here's why I asked ---

Recently several folks here on the boards posted that it appears the Kelly Method is working again. We are sailing on the Celebration July 31st - 4A Guarantee for 3. The 4A category is sold out - no sites showing 4A availability.

So my thought is that if Carnival intended on us staying in a 4A that we would already be "PARKED" in one of those cabins. I went though and punched in all the 3 and 4 person cabins (they will put 3 in a 4 - just wasn't sure about 3 in 2 person) on the Riviera Deck - inside and outside and didn't get the "Guarantee cabins must call 1-800" yahdah yahdah yahdah message - so I'm hoping they moved us up. But with it being so far out I don't want to punch in every 3 and 4 person cabin to find out - plus even if I found it they may move us again.

I guess since it is possible I should go through and punch in the rest of the cabin on the Riviera just to be sure.

I think it's a pretty good assumption that if I don't find us on the Riviera now that chances are we got bumped up. What do you think?

We had a GTY for 3 in a room. They put us in a 2 person room with a cot on the floor. They told us that they were only required to provide bedding for the number of people in the room. Now if you did a 4 person gty, you probably would get a room with 2 uppers and 2 lowers, because there is no way they could put 2 cots on the floor. They did move us up to the upper deck, but it was still a 2 person room.

OK - So now I have to worry about checking all the cabins - Oh Well.

I went through the entire Riviera Deck and nothing popped up to indicate that we have a cabin on that deck. I guess I just need to keep my fingers crossed. I'll have to check again when it gets closer.
