Has anyone ever done a snuba excursion in GC through a private tour operator? If so, would you recommend it? I would also like to hear if people have done this excursion through the ship also.

I have not done this particular excursion although I was considering it for Cozumel. When I discovered that the ship offered a "Discover Scuba" excursion I opted for that instead and can highly recommend it over Snuba.

We're doing snuba in Cozumel through Mayan Tours, but I'm sure that it would be great in GC, as well. Not sure of what tour companies do snuba in GC, though.

We did this in Barbados through the ship and had a blast. It was a great way to see if we would like to try scuba or not. I especially liked the fact we didn't have any tanks on our backs!

We took the ship's Snuba excursion in Grand Cayman last month on our Paradise cruise. It was great! They take you to a shipwreck, which was so fascinating. There are several of photos from our Snuba adventure on the link below, "10th Anniversary Cruise." The facility and wreck are only a few blocks from the tender pier, so you can walk there in only a few minutes. Shore excursions to Stingray City had been canceled that day due to 6-foot swells, but the water was calm for our tour because it's on the same side of the island as the ships. I highly recommend it!
