What To Do in Freeport these days.

Haven't been to Freeport in 14 years.

Is there anything worth doing?

Or do I stay on the ship?

Or is a taxi ride to the beach the best I can do?

Just back from the 5 day Miracle cruise. We unexpectedly stopped in Freeport. There really isn't much to do. We opted to do a little shopping in the straw market, headed back to the ship for lunch and lounged out by the pool. Other's in our group went on a snorkeling excursion and enjoyed that.

Try a cab ride to Sheraton Lucaya - you can use their beach - buy food/drink. Lovely beach about a 15 minute cab ride.

If you like horseback riding, I highly recommend Pinetree Stables (http://www.pinetree-stables.com/). There are some photos from our ride with them on the link below, "Two Little Sailors." I made reservations with them a few weeks before sailing, and we had a wonderful time! The tour guides were great.
