What do you all think traffic and general area in and around the Ship Terminal will be like on Thur. and Friday this week with the arrival of QM2.I am going out on the Legend on Friday and I am very concerned that it will be worse than last May during Fleet week and Norwegian Day in the city,
It took me 3 hours from the corner of 12th and 42nd to get into the pier entrance at 12th and 55th.
any suggestions on a drop point that I could walk from?
Thanks
Carol

there shouldn't be any major events till fleet week but the traffic on the west side has been pretty crazy lately. if you are really concerned about traffic. you may be able to hop on a ferry in jersey that should drop you a few blocks south of the piers. i usually drive to the city because jersey mass transit is almost non existant. i'll probably have my brother drop me off early for my cruise.
