Going on Ryndam 4/22/07....Does someone have any ideas, tips,or report on the Copper Canyon tour?.....Thank You for any consideration.

We took the Copper Canyon Tour the first time it was offered. In fact, I was among the group that first experienced this tour. It was long, long, long. You can do a search on this board because it has been mentioned in the last few weeks and get an idea of what to expect. I did not care for this tour. If I ever do the tour again, it will be a land tour where I can manage my time, but that is just me. Enjoy the Ryndam -- beautiful ship.

Emily...Thanks for the info. I logged on the the shore excursions section and read their description...18 Hours duration beginning with an assemblage at 4:00 AM...2 hour bus ride to Fuerte...Round trip up the canyon with lunch and then back to the ship by 10:00 PM....This is not even close to what I had invisioned. I WILL do the Copper Canyon but I guess it will be with INTRAV aboard their chatered train from Nogales, AZ....Much more practical at my age...Thanks again.
