Sad but true. Here are the pictures of the Norway already beached, plus some other bad cruise ship events. Ships in the news, photography (http://www.maritimematters.com/shipnewspics.html)

Thanks. Looks like it's too late to save her now and it'll soon be over:(

Thank Heaven for Dreams, at least in those I can still walk the enclosed promenades of "NORWAY", relive the grandeur of the Windward dining room, and the opulence of Club International. You will be missed...
R.I.P. Blue Lady.....:(

We loved the enclosed Promenade Deck on the Norway. We cruised on her at Christmas one year. Along both sides they had tons of Christmas trees all decorated differently!!

It is such a shame to see her resting on the beach and Little Norway I and Little Norway II gone.

Our first cruise was on the Norway many years ago...and she was a grand ship. We are farmers and our seed corn company had these wonderful trips each year as a bonus for buying their products. Everyone on the ship were farmers or farm related, so it was quite different than most sailings...very casual in the days long before the freestyle dining. Blue jeans, cowboy hats and boots were seen at all meals. The crew kept telling us how much fun they were having.

They ran out of milk the second day out of port...and also said the red meat consumption set a new record for them. LOL. Because we all gamble on a daily basis (weather, govt., weather, middle man, weather etc. ) very few farmers spent time in the casino.

Since then we have taken other cruises and enjoyed them...but the Norway will always have as special spot in our hearts.

I think the Little Norways are at Great Stirrup Cay, still shuttling NCL passengers between ships and the private island. I took this shot from onboard the Norwegian Dawn in 2004. Looks like one of the Little Norways to me.

We were in one of the rear penthouse suites on that last trip that ended with the boiler explosion in Miami. Still have my room key.

very interesting very sad site. I went on and read the shipping news, and
found out that being on the beach is a sad sad ending for some wonderful
old ships. Maybe that's better than where my first cruise ship, the SS Royale is.......the bottom of the ocean off Virginia. I remember my first Norway
cruise, looking back at her from the tender with a big lump in my throat.
She was such a beautiful ship.

Here's a photo of Little Norways I & II at Bremerhaven:

They were created from surplus WWII landing craft back when Norway was introduced.
I'd be willing to bet that they are still in Germany, as the pic posted earlier is not one of them...
