Hi,

next month I am booking my cruise online with the HAL on the Zuiderdam. Has anyone booked online the website of the Holland america line? I was wondering if it's possible to state your preferences for dining. I would like to have a table for 3 my DH, DD and myself we like dining with just our family.

dont think there are tables for 3 ---you could get lucky and ask for a table for 4 and you might not have a single person put there to fill the table-- might want to talk to the maitre d when on board

We have booked direct with HAL on line several times. You can request a table size as well as dining time. After you have booked I suggest you call Reservation Services with your booking number and let them know you want a table for three they will also help with any other questions. For example one time I ended up with ship transfers that I did not want and they took them off.

I know that they don't garantee your table I have travelled with the hal serveral times and always checked my reservation when i get on board and de maitre d is usually a dutch officer so there will ben no problems just wondered if you have the oppertunity to have a prefrence when you book online.
