I know I've seen another thread on here somewhere asking about some suggestions of songs to put on a cd to get you in the mood for your cruise. I'm wanting to do the same but I can't seem to find that thread. If you was going to make a cd for yourself, what songs would you put on it?

Thanks. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I just made a cruise CD, although it might not be to everyone's taste. It starts with "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere", followed by "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" by Kenny Chesney. Next are 2 Jimmy Buffett songs from a free CD attached to his Tequila, which is the name of the first song. A different version of Margaritaville is the other. The Barefoot Man, a Buffett type from Grand Cayman, is next. Then we have "Times Loves a Hero" by Little Feat, which is about running off to Puerto Rico. "Barbados" by Poco follows. I'll put more in the next post. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

My cruise CD continues with "Mexico" by James Taylor and The Beach Boys with "Kokomo". Next is "Hot! Hot! Hot!" and "Caribbean Queen", not to be confused with the new Caribbean Princess. Jimmy Buffett's "Calaloo" is next, followed by Santana doing "Havana Moon". A version of "Montego Bay" is included as well. All cruise destinations or music that just feels right on a cruise. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif Still more to come.

Cruise CD Part 3. The CD continues with Jimmy Buffett's "Island Fever". The next song is "Coconut" by Nilsson followed by "Soak Up The Sun" by Sheryl Crow. "A Place In The Sun" by Pablo Cruise is next; then, "Rum and Coconut Water" by the Barefoot Man. "One Particular Harbor" by Jimmy Buffett is next. The CD ends with "Cool Change" by Little River Band. I'm currently working on volumes 2 and 3, if anyone has any suggestions. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Also, there are 2 CDs of boat and beach music collections called "Thongs" and "Thongs II" that you can order from Amazon.com. I know some of these sound strange, but anyone who has ever heard my compilation CDs has liked them. I would be happy to send anyone a copy. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
