View Full Version : NY Port Secure?

We are booked on the Carnival Miracle out of NY this summer. Read a report recently that Senator Schumer (whom we are not familiar with since we are not from NY) thinks security gaps exsist at the New York Cruise Ship Teminal. This scares some of the people traving with us. We feel that if Carnival or any other cruise line thought that the port was not secure enough or if there is a high alert issued, they would move the ship to a different port. They would not put their passengers/ or employees in any kind of danger. Want to know how others feel.

Thanks

I'm sailing the Miracle out of NY in June.
How I handle this kind of thing is:
I do not watch the news. I make like an ostrich and am a happy person because of it.
I don't dwell in any negativity.
I think only positive thoughts.
I just have faith.
I pull a Scarlet (a good friend taught me this) and I'll always worry about it tomorrow.
NY...HERE I COME!!

I believe in Miracles

Eleven cruises so far. Up next:
Shhhh, it's a surprise!

Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, and work when somebody's watching.
