8I Guarantee, Better Chance for Suite Upgrade?

What is your experience in getting a suite upgrade from a balcony cabin and do you increase that by purchasing a higher category like a 8I?

Depending on the ship the suites can sell out which makes your chances for an upgrade non-existent. If the ship has a limited amount of suites and that is what you want I would suggest just getting the suite. Otherwise book the lowest guarantee level that will make you happy. That way you won't be disappointed when you don't see that upgrade.

The 8I you got is an awesome room and the location is great..if upgrade was offered not sure I would take it. Might take room credits instead if they offered. Like stated above it all depends on the cabins that sell on the ship and what they have left to accomodate other passengers wanting to book that would make them move you. Ya know I really don't know how they come about but I guess if your lucky to have Upgrade fairy visit ya take advantage why ya can might not ever happen again..goodluck and have a wonderful cruise
