Can't Make a Decision!

We went on our first cruise last year - RCCL Navigator from Miami - FABULOUS TIME !- This year we are trying to decide between RCCL Rhapsody out of Galveston or Carnival Conquest out of New Orleans - Anyone have an opinion? Can anyone give information about the basketball court on Conquest (13 year old played 99.9% of the time on the Navigator, but Rhapsody doesn't have one!)

I haven't done Navigator - but did enjoy the Conquest.

The basketball court is in a small enclosed area. I have suggested to several people that if your child likes to play basketball to bring your own. The reason is that the basketballs must be checked out through the pursers deck and they have to be returned by a certain time. Anyone who has gone to the pursers deck knows that there are times when the line is VERY long. By taking your own you are assured of having a ball when you want to play. Plus if you lose it the charge isn't going to show up on the S&S card.

Since you've done big on Navi. I would stick with Conquest so you won't have such a let down to a ship the size of Rhaps. You will find the food as good and maybe better in some areas on Carnival.
