I just read a terrible review of the 2-5 year old age group for camp carnival by DMCE4. The poster stated that their were no scheduled activities and that the 2-5 group were not ever in the pool. This was just in March. Has anyone with kids 2-5 yrs had a better experiance???? My kids will be 3 and 4 1/2 when we travel on the conquest in January. Please Advise!

HI dont sweat one persons review. They do have scheduled activities according to the capers, and you can always take your kids to the pool yourself, I would rather that way I know for sure They have and eye on them. If I took to heart every bad or negative comment, I wouldnt be on any ship! Your kids will have a great time!

My kids were never taken to the pool by the ships camp and I like it that way.

The reverse can also be said of positive comments. They can also be misleading. Its like a movie review. I would much rather read a bad review and then see the movie. I can't be disappointed, no letdown! However a positive review can easily lead to a movie not livng up to expectations! Like much in life, take everything you read with a grain of salt and ultimately judge for yourself!!

Thanks everyone (except caps girl, come on now,no shouting!). But has anyone had ages 2-5 on this ship and had a good or bad time? I am looking for actual experiance, not witty wisdom. They have a little kids pool in camp carnival and I have heard parents say their kids swam in it while in camp carnival! Also I have done research on the Carnival site and saw all of the supposed scheduled activities. The poster of the bad review stated that none of those activities actuall took place. I am looking for others experiances (2-5yr olds) on this ship. Can those people advise?

We took our grandkids ( ages 5 and 7) on the Conquest in Dec. 2003. They loved Camp Carnival. Couldn't wait to go every day. And, at least the week we were there, they did do lots of scheduled activities. The pool was "broken" so was closed but that never seemed to bother them as they were so busy with all the other activities. They never wanted to eat with us either- preferred eating with their new friends at Camp!
