Does anyone know if there is a minimum for PIN #'s in Europe. I had heard that you need 5.

We used our ATM card on our recent trip to the Baltic and our 4 digit pin worked just fine on the bank ATM's. Used it in every port and had no problems.

One note...our friends were used to the letters on American ATM key pads and got a little confused the first time they used a European one without letters on the key pad.

Be sure your PIN does NOT start with a zero (0). Last year in Italy, friends with us had separate cards to access their U.S. bank account; her PIN started with a 0 and didn't work; his 4 digit PIN didn't start with 0 and worked.
