Weather in January???

Hello. I have a cruise planned for HAL's Zuiderdam leaving on January 6, 2007 (Eastern Caribbean). This will be my first cruise during winter months and I am curious about the weather. We love to snorkle and do the beach thing, but I am worried that the water will be too cool for this. Can anyone offer any insight???

The water in the Caribbean is fine for swimming any time of the year.
