Bus from Boston to Montreal after cruise ?

I'm booking for the Canada/New England cruise in May 2007. My mother is very scared of flying and mentioned that she heard Holland America offers bus service between Montreal and Boston.

Does this service exist ? Has anyone ever done it and what is the cost?

Yes.....there is such a service. We cruised back-to-back Boston to Montreal and back to Boston both last summer and again this year. With our documents, I remember seeing mention of a bus that was available to transport pax back to Boston. I do not remember the details but will look through my papers to see if I can find information.

We are booked on the bus returning to Boston from Montreal on Oct. 7th.
I had read about the service while on this site. It costs $99 and I have been told we will arrive back to Boston around 5pm. My documents just came and there is a voucher for this bus transport. My TA made the arrangements. I looked on the HAL site but didnt really see any mention of this service so you may need to inquire for more info.

Yes, it is available and yes, the agent does have to ask.. and push. Some rez agents don't know it's available and try to book you on an airport transfer!

$99 one way was the rate for 2006.

The bus picks up and drops off at the EDIC parking garage across from Black Falcon Pier.

Yes....that sounds right. I think it's great the bus drops off right at Black Falcon. Easy pick up for someone to come get you. Just don't count on a taxi. It isn't likely there would be many around at that hour.

cjc2: What is the approximate time the bus left Montreal to Boston? Thinking about that arrangement for the four of us next September, 29,2007. Thank you for any information.
