Should I just let it go?

I got a 10% off letter from Carnival and am having a time using it. First the online TA said to send it once the booking was done which I did. They said they never got it so I had to get Carnival to resend and then resend to TA. Did that. Then TA said Carnival did not receive it from TA. Carnival resent to TA and TA resent to Carnival. Still not applied. I called Carnival and no record of getting it although TA says they did and are waiting approval. Carnival said for troubles they'd issue a $25 pp credit and they would resend to me and I could resend directly to them.

In the meantime, a price drop happend. Should I just forget trying to get the 10% and take what I got? Should I keep working with TA and hope for the best? Or should I go ahead and submit directly to carnival? I sort of feel like I'm being unethical and going behind TAs back. They have been really good about getting back to me on everything and got us the credit for price drop.

Its not a big amount but every little bit helps.

If Carnival told you to send it directly to them, that's what you should do. It's crazy that you've had such a hard time with this. We had no problems at all with our 10% off letter. I sent it to my TA, he sent it to Carnival and all was well. You poor thing, you've been dealing with this way too long! Let Carnival handle it now. (Although it is silly that they had to send it to you to send back to them in the first place!)

You should ask for the price drop, then you should expect the 10% off of that as well. Sorry this is such a headache, hopefully they will fix it soon.
