If I'm beating a dead horse please point me to a link. I have heard that there is hookup in the Deluxe Verandah Suite Category in cabin. I sailed her before and didn't care. Times change and my wife is a realtor rather than a teacher. What's the story as she needs to stay in touch. Thanks in advance.

I thought I had seen on here that there is an internet connection in every cabin - a dial-up type. I believe there is also wireless availability in certain areas of the ship.

Internet access in rooms is via dial-up - not recommended. On-board access available in Explorations cafe and some wi-fi spots. Here's the HAL info:

Just about every port has a nearby internet cafe of some sort that will provide 'inexpensive' access.
Ask crew members for guidance. They, too, have personal needs for inexpensive internet access.
Of course, be careful about secure info being transmitted at public places.
Good luck,
Richard

Richard is right! Always seek a facility on shore. They're much cheaper and are plentiful in most ports. If a crewmember can't direct you to a location, someone on shore will know.

Oh yeah, when we were in Cozumel, I think we paid $5 for an hour, if it was that much. With security the way it is at airports now, it would be quite a hassle to carry the laptop anyway.
