I read a post stating those that are scheduled for the early dinner will miss quite a few shows.. We have no kids, we can eat anytime, early or late, late is a matter of more time to dress and have another cocktail, early I thought I'd be out in time to see shows but maybe not??

Can some jump in here and shed some light!

I seem to recall two showtimes - one for early seating and one for late seating. I can let you know for sure after next week http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

No matter which seating time you have, you won't miss any shows.

You won't miss any shows! They have it well-planned. For the two "production" shows:

I'm looking a copy of Capers from my last cruise. I had early seating dinner, and the show started at 8:45.

For the late seating diners, the show started at 10:30.

The comedy shows, etc. are on the nights that the production shows are not scheduled - and start at 10:30, and the R-rated shows start at midnight.

Anyone feel rushed to get to dinner at the early show? I don't know how much time you have between the time you get back on the ship and when you need to head out for dinner..

We always have late seating because we don't want to rush back and have to get dressed for dinner. With the late seating you can even take a little nap or go to the deck party or even the happy hour an relax first. You can see the shows no matter what seating you have.

You will have WELL OVER 2 hours to eat..and then time to get to the show cuz getting there early is important as the auditorium fills up. Enjoy...and relax. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Like stated above, we picked the late seating so that we wouldn't have to rush back to our room to get ready for dinner. The 2 early seatings are quite early. On port days especially, you would have to practically run right to dinner. We were a little rushed after dinner on some nights though. We ran right to 10 o'clock bingo and then the show. We didn't usually have any wandering around or casino time, but you have plenty of time to do that before 8 o'clock!
