BTW we are thinking about changing our reservations to the Star Princess as well for our Honeymoon cruise. We are going to do the back to back Western / Eastern.

kodiac- are you for real? are you really switching to the Star 's 10/24 sailing? From all I've seen so far Princess has some really special things for honeymooners.

I'ts the first time we've been away by ourselves since we had the kids...19 years ago! I'm still not sure we'll know what to do by ourselves so I am bringing along some books, board games and cards.

Just a guess, but isn't that pink glass section of the "smokestack" part of the dining room ceiling. Everything is bathe in the pink glow during the daytime, hence the color.

The silly things that people remember - I remember because my son would always make a "hat" out of the napkin creations that would await us when we got to our table.

I am curious as to why someone would want to know this though!

Truffle's was the fanciest diner I've ever eaten in.LOL

Chris is right peachy pinkish color tablecloth and matching napkins. We ate on the 2nd level maybe, the 1st level had a different color.

Blandadi, maybe the people who wrote that review only ate in the Unicorn Cafe all their meals. There are no table linens there. The table tops are marble. Besides it's not the linens you should be worried about it's the food. Which was great!!!

In the Category 12 cabin (U-something) we were in on the Fascination (first cruise) there was a sliding glass door, no curtain. I remember bringing Mr Bubble to use in what was supposed to be a wirly-twirly bubbly bath tub but it never did anything.

We just loved that ship and one of the reasons why was because you could eat breakfast outside; we've really missed that on the other ships, not Fantasy Class, that don't offer that.

Right then and there was when DW decided we had to have a balcony cabin to read on for any other cruises we might go on. Here she is in book-readers heaven:

Just got off the Legend today. Pink in the dining room (both floors, we had bkfst & lunches on 1st, and dinners on 2nd). Maybe the post you saw concerning the lack of table clothes was of the Lido deck dining area. There were no table cloths there and the napkins were red.

I think the dining room staff on the Legend are trying to keep us confused! Darn cruisers... sounds like they're taking the tablecloths home as "souvenirs" so the staff has to keep replacing them with whatever color they have available!
