Just wondering if there are refrigerators in all the cabins on the HAL ships. Have been on other cruise lines and it seem like all the cabins had small refrigerators.
Thanks

Our experience has been not all cabins have had refrigerators but we have been on the older ships not on the newer ones so my info may be dated. I think you can request a refrigerator be placed in any room if it doesn't have one at a daily cost.
Have a great next cruise.

All the Vista ships have a fridge in all cabins.
The S- and R-class ships have a fridge in the penthouse, suites, and mini-suite cabins. The other cabins may to rent.
I don't know how it is on the Prinsendam.

Prinsendam has refrig. in all the cabins..
Understand a refrig. can be rented for $2.00 per day if your cabin does not have one...However have also been told to bring a power strip, as the refrig is plugged into only outlet under the dressing table...
Suggest you contact ships services a few weeks before departure if you want to rent one..

Just off Rotterdam and no fridges in Inside or Outside Cabins. We thought
we had one booked but somewhere along the way something happened
and no fridge when we boarded. DW needs to keep medications cold so
went to Front Office - sorry, they are all gone. Cabin steward had to
make 3 trips a day to the housekeeping fridge and back for us. If you really
need one, make sure of the reservation by checking directly with HAL
just before leaving home and try to get a confirmation in writing.

Are the drinks in the fridge in your cabin the same price as the drinks
at the bar on the ship?

Yes, in our experience, including the 15 pc mandated tip.

On our Zuiderdam to Alaska July 8-15, we had cabin 1020 (outside main deck) and we had a fridge. It was more of a mini bar, so you could not put much of anything else in. We had asked for the room steward to lock it, as we were not using it, then at the end of the cruise, they could not charge us for anything. When we finally settled our bill on the last day, there were a lot of people who had the mini bar charge on their bill and they never used it.
