Ryndam Sea of Cortez

We have sailed on Celebrity's Mercury and Infinity and Carnival's Pride. Can anyone tell me if we would like Ryndam? We are not picky and I don't think there would be a cruise ship we didn't like but......... We are early 60's. Thanks for any info.

We are older than you. Have sailed on the Ryndam many times.

In fact we did the Sea of Cortez on her Novmber 2005 - posted a review - it is back quite a few pages by now.

The Ryndam is one of our favorite ships.

We also have done the Sea of Cortez on Ryndam. You can't go wrong with either the ship or that itinerary! You might even luck out and get Frans Consen as your captain since Ryndam has been "his" ship. Great and funny guy! Have fun!:)

We too did the Sea of Cortez on the Ryndam in November but in 2004. It was great, we were also fortunate to see whales in Cabo, although they said it was very early.

Thanks for all your imput. I have a question. When I go to a "popular" online booking site and look at the Verandah staterooms they look like oceanviews instead with twin beds at one end and a couch at the other. Where is the verandah? Very confusing.

DH and I were on the Ryndam in December 03 and January 04 and loved the ship and ports of call. We are booked again in March 07 and looking forward to seeing the Signature of Excellence changes.
