On the Miracle, the Panorama deck is below the Lido. Has anyone ever staye dbelow the Lido, and if so, did you hear any noise from above??
(the rooms I'm looking at are right below the pools)

Halos:
Last year on the Conquest we stay right below the Lido deck. We could hear when they would slide the chairs across the floor. If I remember that was about the most we heard. After a while we just didn't pay any attention.

On the Triumph, our aft balcony cabin was on the Verandah deck, right below the Lido.
We experienced minor chair-dragging sounds from above early in the morning. Also, one day they must have been cleaning the grill because there was a noticeable odor emanating from above.
Was it noticeable?
Yes.
Did it ruin our cruise?
Heck no.
Would I prefer an aft balcony a couple decks lower?
Yes.
If I had a choice of this cabin vs not cruising at all, would I stay in it again?
In a heartbeat.

Perhaps something else in the works as well. Watch this space.

We were in the middle of the ship on the Victory, room 8343, right below the Lido deck and it was very noisy day and night. They apparently clean the decks during the nite so you could hear chairs sliding all nite long. I would highly recommend another deck!

I was looking at the cabins available for a possible upgrade. The only cat 8's left are on the deck below Lido...I'll stick with my 7A on the Upper Deck!
Thanks!!

I wouldn't recommend that deck - you hear the chairs all the time.

Once I had a cabin on the Spirit Panorama Deck as a result of an upgrade, and it was indeed noisy. Approx 20 hours/day I heard noise off/on. Did it ruin my cruise—nope. However, if I had a choice of decks, Panorama would not be on my list for the Spirit class ships.
I've enjoyed all of my cabins on Spirit on the Main, Empress, and Verandah decks. My Verandah forward balcony was my favorite--quiet, quiet area.

We were on the Panorama deck on the Legend right under the rear deck and pool area. Yes we heard the chairs scraping and the power-washing of the deck. We also heard running from up there. But it wasn't enough to disturb my sleep or ruin our cruise. In an ideal situation, I'd chose another deck, but it's really not a big deal.

I was on the Miracle 4/17 on the Panorama deck and I just heard the noise from the chair and I was under the pool on the back deck. Nothing I couldn't live with.

Was under the showroom on Paradise and heard the low end of the music till show ended. Hated it since I am not one to stay up late. Travel with ear plugs now. By the way, I am on Panorama deck in June on the Legend in 8149.

This past December I was in cabin 8144 on Spirit panorama deck. Before the cruise I was concerned about the noise issue, but found that there were no problems at all. I'm not terribly sensitive to noise but I certainly expected more noise than I had. Early one morning there was a problem with water dripping down while they were cleaning the lido deck. I'd certainly take another cabin on that deck in a heartbeat.
