We know the Oosterdam very well, and have been in 5187 right above you on two occasions. This past October we had friends just below us in 4185. The cabin is laid out exactly the same but maybe just 6 inches narrower. The balcony is ever so slightly smaller as well but very close. Here is a link to our pictures.

Sorry that the photos in part 1 seem like they are out of order, that is not how I uploaded them. Several times I have tried to rearrange they will not change:confused:
These should answer a lot of your questions.:)

GREAT pictures. I especially enjoyed looking at the pictures of your suite and balcony. I had that same suite on the Zuiderdam and it brought back such wonderful memories. I'd book that cabin in a minute. Thanks for sharing.

Lisa, great pics but I really like that hat that Tom is wearing. Kinda reminds me of that contraption Cruise Director Pieter Daems came out with on stage on Prinsendam during the cast's last production show "It takes two"

Hi Lisa! Quick question. The O and the Noordam are sister ships, and I have been told the layouts are more than a little similar. We are going to be 2 cabins down on the same deck (but on the Noordam) as your cabin was, so we were really interested in the pictures. On the Noordam, 5187 is a VA cabin, but your's looks like a suite. Is 5187 a suite on the O, but a VA on the Noordam. I'm looking forward to it regardless, but I was wondering if we get a room and balcony that big, will my wife ever settle for anything less???? (Yeah, I already know the answer...)
Thanks for the input! Great pix!
Keep Smiling!!!:D

But that won't stop me from answering. Although the Oosterdam and Noordam are considered sisters, they are not identical. There are more cabins on the Noordam---her aft is much straighter, making more room---so they are numbered differently.
The deck layouts, and the arrangement of the public rooms is virtually the same.

Thanks Ruth! Just when I was starting to get excited! Hopefully the verandah is as deep on the Noordam as the O'dam (keeping my fingers crossed)!
Thanks for the info!

On the Noordam cabin 5191 is identical to 5187:), my understanding is the inside is exactly the same and the balcony is a bit smaller. Yes 5187 is a SC suite same as 5191 on the Noordam. eventually the first three Vista Class will be the same as the Noordam as well as the cabin numbers.

:)Thanks for the great photos Lisa! That is exactly what I wanted to see. I think our breakfast table will look much like yours every morning...looks like you had a wonderful time! And you really can fit a lot of people out there!
One more q for you...where is Margaritaville? I don't think I've seen details for it before...
Thanks again!

Margarittaville is in Cabo, not too far from where the tendors dock but it is about a fast 5 minute walk. Just follow the walk way to the right along the pier then left up to the main shopping area and it is up on the corner of the main intersection. Maybe someone else can describe how to get there better, but it really is not hard to find:)

Also thanks to everyone that view our pictures, glad they could help. I try to take pictures that I would want to see of the inside and outside of the cabin. It really is my favorite, when we were on the Ryndam in a S Suite just across the hall from the Neptune in May we enjoyed the location and the cabin being just a bit bigger but we really missed our 5187 on the Oosterdam:) and commented that fact several time. We can't wait to return March 17th:D
