What is the earliest you can embark in Istanbul? I know it says 3pm in the documents but can you get on earlier? What is everyone's experience with this?

We our scheduled to embark on the Nautica in Istanbul on September 26. Our cruise docs (received today!) say that Concierge, Penthouse and Suite guests may embark beginning at 11am - rooms and suites will be ready at 1pm. Regular embarkation will begin at 3 pm. However, this is our first cruise on Oceania so I don't know how much they enforce these guidelines.

In April we embarked the Regatta as soon as we arrived at the pier about 12:30. We were not the first ones onboards. And do not know how early they started the embarkation process.

were you in a suite? could everyone board at 12:30?

No suite, (a lowly) Cat F. It may have been luck of the timing. The suite people might already have boarded; & the majority of Pax flying in that day probably hadn't arrived yet. We had been there for 5 days already; had to check out of our hotel by noon; & took a chance getting there early.
