GTY cabin info Volendam

We have booked outside GTY for the Nov 23 cruise and were wondering whether from your experience , when does HAL start assigning rooms for the GTY groups?

Normally, guarantees are assigned in the 1-2 weeks out range. They can be assigned further out than that---like 3-4 weeks (unlikely), or as close in as check-in (rarely).
You can keep checking the "book shore excursions" area of the HAL website, or check the Immigration page. When a cabin is assigned it will show up in those two areas.

We're on the Zaandam on 9/30. 2 weeks away, still no cabin assignment.

No cabin assignment for us either. We're on the Zaandam on September 22nd!! Sheesh!

Finally a cabin number! Rec'd it today on the immigration form online. Gone from MM guarantee to a L category inside cabin. Not much of an upgrade but are happy with an aft location on the Main Deck. We sail on Friday the 22nd ! Bon Voyage!

Glad to hear your cabin is a mystery no longer. I got my hopes up, checked for our 9/30 Zaandam sailing, and still see GUAR for our cabin. Oh well, still 2 weeks to go.
