Tampa Directions

Hello everyone,

We are sailing on the Miracle in Dec and never been to Tampa. Just needed some help on how far the pier was from airport and some advice on hotels. I tried the search but for some reason it is not working.

The airport is about a 20 minute ride to the port. I personally think Tampa is the easiest airport and port to navigate.
The closest hotels to the port are in the downtown area. We stayed in the westshore/airport area last year and plan to do the same. You will find the big hotel chains here. Have a super time. We are going 2 months later on the Miracle.

I hope you enjoy our beautiful city. Hotels downtown are the Hyatt, Radisson Riverside, Wyndym Harbor Island (friends of mine stayed there and the prices were reasonable. You can see the port from the hotel). Alot of people like to stay at the Westshore district at Embassy Suites. It is right across the street from Westshore Mall and a mile from International Mall. Put a search in for Tampa Chamber of Commerce or Visitors Assoc. for help.

Thank you both. We have been to Orlando twice and Miami twice and enjoyed them both. Now it is time to give Tampa a try.
